Copenhagen | Barcelona | Kaohsiung Summit on Service Innovation in Cities
Living Labs Global joins forces with Barcelona, Copenhagen, and Kaohsiung to meet the challenges in Mobility, Environment and Well-being in our cities.
From around the world Cities, Companies and Experts will join us on the 24/25 November in Copenhagen to engage in a day of networking to use innovations to turn challenges into opportunities. Pilots in the City of Copenhagen, together with a Showcase of latest innovations from around the world will provide the setting, in which Cities will declare their challenges and intentions, companies will pitch their solutions, experts provide insights to trigger discussion, visioning workshops deliver future solutions.

Design London | Living Labs Global
09 March 2010, Imperial College, London
The launch of the book "Connected Cities: Your 256 Billion Euro Dividend" this week in London by Living Labs Global in collaborationwith Design London, heralds how introducing new digital services in cities promises the change the way citzens live in cities around the world. At The Well Connected City symposium at Imperial College, cities, companies and universities came together to share experience and create partnerships for how cities can become increasingly "smart" with the help of new digital service layers.

Living Labs Global Showcase Award
14 February 2010, Sant Cugat des Valles
As the culmination of the four month Living Labs Global Showcase Award process, over 100 representatives from Europe, North America and Asia attended the Showcase Award Ceremony in Sant Cugat des Valles. The three hour event was a unique opportunity for the nine award category cities and the 45 showcase award finalists to learn about other innovative entries and to celebrate their own contribution to the competition. Creative Cities Congress, Caceres
From 12-14 of November, Caceres became the hub of dialogue, participation and workshops on the issue of Creative Cities when the "Creative Cities in the Imagination Society" conference took over not just the seminar rooms, but many streets and corners of the city. Several Living Labs Global members made exciting contributions, including Michel Sudarskis (Secretary General of INTA), Maren Lübcke of TuTech’s eParticipation group and Sascha Haselmayer (General Director Living Labs Global). Further, Ubiqa organised a Gymkana Movil, or mobile paperchase, through the city engaging dozens of teenagers in exploring the creative side of Caceres, and creating video documentaries featuring artists, designers and other creative professionals in the city.
Other highlights included architecture and electronic music workshops, engaging children and teenagers in high-technology and creative processes.
Living Labs Global in association with the INTA33 Global Urban Development Congress
"Innovative Urban Environments" In collaboration with INTA - Global Association for Urban Development with members in 60 countries and linkages to 3.000 global cities.

October 19th-20th, Bucharest, Romania
The Global Forum is a high level event taking place on the 19-20th of October in Bucharest in which ICT experts, business and political leaders will discuss the challenges of future infrastructures and digital services environments. For the past 3 years Living Labs Global has been an active participant in the Global Forum.
